Moustiers earthenware dish, Fouque's oval workshop, gadrooned polylobed, polychrome petit feu technique. Beautiful decor said to parrots; in the center of the basin two parrots perched on light branches, accompanied on the wing by four branched parakeets. These are lovely, very fresh compositions with supremely distinguished graphics. On the back, the signature of two interlaced "FF" by Fouque as well as two numbers and two crosses of firing correlated with the decoration. Good condition, it should be noted small chips on the edge of the wing visible in the photographs, no restorations or cracks.
Observations: To this day the mark of the two interlaced Fs is given to Fouque but in the past it was attributed to the workshops of the Ferrat brothers; jean Baptiste and Louis Ferrat as well as the parrot decor from the rest. This dish coming from the collection of the extraordinary ambassador and plenipotentiary of France, Jules Henri François CHARLES-ROUX and his wife Madame Fanny Charles-Roux, née Zarefi, in the inventory of the collection this dish was given to the Ferrat brothers .

Ex-collection Madame Fanny Charles-Roux née ZAREFI and her husband, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France, Jules Henri François CHARLES-ROUX. From the Avignon collection, from the Annanelle mansion.
