Oil on canvas. Dated of 1780. Scottisch school. 18th century. Dimensions frame included. Scottish painter John Brown studied in Edinbourgh before his stay in Italy where he drew landscapes. He sent his works to the Royal Academy. Back in Scotland in 1780 he executed portraits of Scottish noblemen.
