Selection of furniture from the 16th to the 19th century
Regence period "Table à gibier" in cedar, wood renowned for its rot-proof properties.
Resting on four feet ending in deer hooves and connected together by a curved and richly carved spacer.
The generously curved uprights are also perforated, at their base an acanthus leaf covers the hoof. At their amortization there is a shell.
We find the Régence shell on the front of the strip of the game table. This openwork belt is also abundantly carved with natural, floral and oval patterns.
This precious piece of furniture is topped with its thick royal Belgian red marble, reinforced.
