Living room writing table called "à billets doux" rectangular, it receives an elegant work of marquetry on each of its sides of kingwood veneers with foothills of rosewood, demarcated with boxwood fillet on softwood and wood core Oak. Laterally in the belt, straight slightly concave with rounded masses, it opens with a compartmentalized drawer in a bracket sliding under the tray. The whole rests on four-legs. The whole is topped with a flat top with rounded angles, covered with a havana maroquin with small irons in a veneer frame; an overhanging rod provided with a doucine on one of its faces in order to facilitate writing, short on the periphery. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded and chiseled bronzes such as: falling shoulders, keyhole and leafy hooves completes the picture.
