Rare porcelain inro with blue and white decoration representing a landscape and flowers in reserves. It is signed signed inside the cover, Nishimura Hozen, also known as Eiraku Zengoro XI. He lived from 1795 to 1854. The signature of this inro corresponds to one of his first signatures, around 1820.
This inro is mounteed with an agate ojime and a Hirado porcelain netsuké representing a character.
The Inro is in good condition with some small firing cracks visible inside. He has several old labels including, inside, a label from the Cartier Bresson collection, the photographer's great uncle.
