Large painting representing the Holy Family: Jesus between Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph. 17th century Italian School (Florence) in the mood of Raphael (16th century style). Our large painting and decorative is presented in a large Empire period frame (circa 1820).

Beautiful painting in a large size (made for a castle), very evocative of the grand tour tradition in the European upper society. Our painting was probably brought back by an aristocrat during a trip to Italy in the early 19th century.
