Sculptor of statuettes, mythological subjects, nudes, animals.
He was a student of Jules Coutant. His works appeared at the Salon des Artistes Français between 1910 and 1939.
He received an honourable mention in 1910, a bronze medal in 1913, a silver medal in 1921, a medal in 1924.
Out-of-competition and knight of the Legion of Honour in 1932, he was awarded another gold medal at the 1937 International Exhibition.
