Pair of mahogany consoles, ormolu bronzes (mercury gilded), mercury mirrors and speckled granite marbles , engraved with inventory numbers (N ° 24 and N ° 31). Parisian work from the Consulate period, circa 1800 - 1805
A perfect example of the so-called Egyptian style back in vogue under the Consulate and the beginning of the Empire, this beautiful model is adorned with antique busts of woman in tunic.
Fine quality production with elegant proportions, bronzes beautifully crafted, finely chiseled and gilded with mercury.
Such real pair of consoles is particularly rare to find.
Our two consoles are in perfect condition with a new varnish.
