French Provencal Commode, Transition, 18th century

Provencal chest of drawers called "sauteuse", walnut, vintage Louis XV / Louis XVI Transition. It has two molded drawers accented with pretty golden bronzes. The fretwork is openwork. It is decorated with carved foliage and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. The hipped sides have grooves in the Louis XVI style.
This charming dresser rests on curved legs.
