Selection of furniture from the 16th to the 19th century
Cassone chest in walnut richly carved facade with foliage, foliage, palm leaves, pearls and natural patterns. The central cartouche houses an escutcheon eagle. On either side of the central cartouche clash with carved panels of garlands and ovals.
It opens with a molded and dark tray of stamped leather decorated with exotic birds, fruits and foliage.
The foregoing amounts of fruit trophies are surmounted by Lion's muzzles.
The side panels are provided with large movable wrought iron wrought handles.
The chest ends with two front legs with Lion legs.
17th century, restorations at the base.
