Offered by Le Cabinet d'Amateur
An oval dish in glazed pottery from the Pré d'Auge early 17th century representing:
- on the basin, Henri IV surrounded by his family. This scene is taken from an engraving made by Léonard Gaultier in 1610,
- on the wing, 28 compartments decorated with a flower.
Léonard Gaultier, draftsman engraver, was born in Mainz in 1561 and died in 1635 in Paris.
Good condition, some égrenures.
