Pair of Consulate armchairs, made in mahogany and mahogany veneer, the armrests of consoles are finely carved in the form of caryatids in the antique manner (carved in the mass), claw feet, back legs in the form of saber.
The jig and finesse of sculpture allow us to attribute this pair of armchairs to the Master Cressent.
The armchairs are upholstered with silk of the House Lelievre, Paris.
Condition report: Restored in our workshop in January 2017. Perfect condition.
