Probably born around 1505, Stefano dall’Arzere is said to have been a pupil of Titian and to have worked alongside Campagnola. Several of his frescoes remain in Padua, marked by their powerful and expressive figures. His drawings have often been attributed to Campagnola, and a full understanding of his graphic style has yet to be established.
