A rare porcelain teapot and lid, decorated in polychrome and gold with port scenes on each side with European figures on piers, the quays loaded with goods ready to be loaded onto ships. The frames are formed by gilded foliage on a glossy Bottger background framed by flowers. The spout ends in a lion's head.
Mark with crossed swords in blue underglaze and mark 66 in gold on the reverse of the lid and teapot.
