Large American desk in walnut signed Pichon à Lyon

Large American desk in walnut, panelled on all sides.
Curtain with pivoting sides, bronze hinges.
Interior with drawers, compartments and storage.
On the bottom, two pedestals on plinths, six single and one double drawer.
Pull handles with gadroons and feathers.
One drawer pull at the top of each pedestal.
The drawers are closed by a curtain.
Bronze keyhole signed “Bureaux Pichon”.
Waxed desk, working lock, ready for use.
Circa 1900.
