Pair of busts in patinated bronze. Cicero and Demosthenes.
Cylindrical base in Turquin blue marble on a molded ormolu pedestal decorated with strings and pearls. Gilt bronze pedestal under the busts. A gilded bronze plaque is riveted to the marble columns and bears the names of the philosophers. It is embellished and highlighted with a chain.
