Pair of cornet-shaped earthenware vases decorated with ‘Delft doré’ in low fire with young Chinese women and children in gardens near flowering baluster vases in front of fences framed by vases and pierced rocks. The blues were fired in the first firing.
On the reverse, the mark of the Manufacture de l'A grec (De Grieksche A) under the direction of the widow Van den Briel, who owned the ‘La fortune’ factory in 1764. The manufacture of Greek A was acquired by her husband in 1768.
