Beautiful inverted-profile mirror in native wood marquetry attributed to Noël Hache, created with shading using the hot-sand-burned wood technique.
Richly decorated with scrolls, floral volutes, foliage and acanthus leaves, it features four heart-shaped spandrels in the corners.
The mirror is framed by a central molding in blackened wood imitating ebony, embellished with alternating light wood fillets.
17th century work, circa 1739, in perfect condition.
