A finely modelled bronze bust, presumed to be Uranus - god of the Sky...

The bust is unusually cast in two sections, which gives the sculpture wonderful movement and is also a testament to the quality of the piece.

The bronze has a good, deep 19th century patination and is a perfect size for a mantelpiece.
