A suit of Daimyo armor, in the Mimai tosei-gusoku style, in gilded kiritsuke with a kebiki 3 colors odoshi, provided with kusazuri 6 tassettes gilded 5 plates in kiritsuke zane also in kebiki odoshi.
The kabuto made of 28 plates lacquered kôshôzan type, with an O-manju large shikoro, the gilded large fukikaeshi covered with leather and a copper crest of the “Sagari-fuji” clan, in the front 2 copper kuwagata, with an unusual black and white rooster feather maedate.
The iron menpo half facial mask of the ressei type in sabi-nuri lacquer, with a gilded kiritsuke yodarekake kebiki odoshi.
This armor comes directly from a Japanese collection and has never been exhibited or offered for sale in Europe.
Edo period (1603-1868), from the Tenmei era, late 18th century.
With its NKBKHK Certificate, the Jingasa “en suite”, the original yoroi-bitsu (wooden chest), and its shitagi (jacket worn under the armour).
