Siliceous ceramic dish from Kubacha (Dagestan, Chirvan region, Russian Federation), decorated in blue and manganese monochrome with two birds on terraces in a sinister landscape, a swirling frieze of fruit branches and sinuous brown-black leaves on the wing. Circular blue fillets forming compartments on the back.
Late 16th - early 17th century.
Diameter: 34.5 cm.
Missing enamel around the edges and slightly stained in the center.
