Large Oil on canvas signed and dated 1886. Mathide Demasur painter born in Strasbourg in 1833, Daughter of Louis-Adolphe Demasur and Marie-Thérèse Virginie Houchard. Student of Eugene Faure, she debuted at the Paris Salon in 1869 with the portrait of an abbot. She produced other works using this technique. She was then living in Paris. French school of the 19th century, follower of François Boucher.
