Description of the Empire Clock
The Empire Clock impresses with its unusual design, which is designed as a globe with an elegant brass base. A high-quality clockwork is integrated into this, the 24-hour dial of which runs along the equator ring made of brass. This ring precisely shows the time zones across the entire earth. The British Empire is marked on the globe in a orange-red colour. A vertically adjustable pointer makes it possible to set the time exactly for any desired region, making the Empire Clock a functional masterpiece. This exclusive collector's item represents the highest level of craftsmanship and is an impressive example of the successful fusion of functionality and aesthetics.
On the upper base of the clock there is the note "Patent" and the designation "BREV. S.G.D.G." (Breveté Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement), which suggests a possible export for the French market. In addition, the base plate of the movement bears the serial number 118, an indication of the exclusive and limited production. On the globe itself there is an emblem with the patent number 19460 and the inscription "THE EMPIRE CLOCK cable".

The movement was recently overhauled, while the globe has retained its original patina and is in authentic original condition.
