Large circular buckle with five hounds chasing a hare. The hare is the only animal depicted that looks backwards and its ear, morphology of its head and body clearly show that this is a hare rather than a hound. Great patination of the metal. Very good condition. Rare & lovely piece. Good size. Could be British or early Nürnberg. Diameter: 8cm. On a rustic metal stand.
