Ebony cabinet, jewellery chest, silver filet, turquoise stones, blue enamel.
It is composed of 4 small drawers on both sides. On the front, 2 small cornices shelter 2 sculptures in patinated bronze, a woman and a man draped in the antique style. A door with flap framed by a frieze in silver net with plant decoration, in its centre a boxwood cartouche carved representing the abdication of an Emperor dropping his laurel crown and captioned:...
I have governed without fear and I abdicate without fear".
All the gilt bronze parts are finely chased with floral, arabesque and ribbon decorations.
It is on a gilt bronze base.
