Armand Henrion (1875-1958) Clown

Armand Francois Joseph Henrion , born in Liege , the south of Belgium in 1875 . He moved to Paris where he participated in many Salons .
Well known for his close-set self portraits, in the guise of a clown .
Oil on pannel , signed lower left , "Arm. Henrion".
On the back of the pannel a label of the Paris framer Edouard Hautecoeur .
Painting in very good condition , the gilt frame shows some wear due to age .
