Nice writing table with gaiac legs, mahogany top, side rails and drawer.
The framed top is molded with a corbin beak with a small flattened edge below.
It rests on a gaîac turned baluster base joined by a gaîac H-shaped brace, with a mahogany top in the center.
A molding highlights the drawer and side rails. The rear crosspiece is in oak.
18th century.
Good condition in its original patina with wear and tear.
Certainly made in Rochelais.
