Pair of large octagonal earthenware vases with long narrow necks ending in a bulb, decorated in blue monochrome with Chinese scenes with numerous characters near a river, Chinese horsemen, seated characters or exchanging, in a frame of friezes of lambrequin. Stylized tulips on the neck in the style of Transitional Chinese porcelain.
Second half of the 17th century
adapted to the Low Countries in the 19th century with gilt bronze mounts.
