Beautiful "La Lectura" clock, based on Reiche's model (Jean André Reiche, 1785) and attributed to Claude Galle, circa. 1800. The image is of a beautiful young woman reading, in a luxurious setting. 8-day movement with wired pendulum that rings a bell every half hour.
