A beautiful early 19th century French gilt bronze clock. The gilt bronze clock case depicts the goddess of love Venus with her son Cupid and her dog as a symbol of fidelity. The 8 day movement is in very good condition. Paris, ca. 1805. Dimensions: 49 x 38 x 15 cm
