Mother-of-pearl and gouache fan with antique scene 18th century

FRANCE
Fan depicting an episode in the life of ALEXANDER in front of an encampment painted in gouache. The openwork mother-of-pearl strands are accented with two golds depicting a gallant scene, framed by putti and surrounded by foliage.
The reverse is decorated with another gouache depicting a château on an island, embellished with a frieze of flowers and foliage.
18th century circa 1760
Dimensions open 52 cm total height of one strand 26 cm.
