GERMANY attributed to ANSBACH :
Twisted earthenware pitcher decorated in blue monochrome with the episode of the return from the land of Canaan. The envoys return with a gigantic bunch of grapes, which two of them carry on a pole, in a lively landscape of fortified monuments. Birds, flowers and insects on the neck.
Original pewter lid and base, the spherical poucier lid bearing a master stamp on the inside.
First third of the 18th century circa 1720 - 1730
