Oil painting on canvas from the first half of the 19th century, depicting a noble gentleman.

Rich frame, with noble coat of arms in the upper part, in the lower part written in Latin (translated):

"His Lordship Cristoforo Sozzi of the Capitanei family of Vimercate. Count, Knight and Camerlengo of the golden key of the Most Holy Relics of the Martyrs. Feudal lord of Cornate (d'Adda) of the Duchy of Milan with absolute judicial and military power. Milanese nobleman and Bergamo registered in the golden book of the Venetian nobility. He died in Milan in the year 1801 in the month of October".
