Offered by Galleria Sinigaglia
Furniture, paintings, sculptures and objects from the 18th and 19th centuries.
This small lacquered tray on a light blue background was made in Venice in the 18th century. More precisely around 1750, in the middle of the Louis XV period.
It features a shaped figure all around with figures of flowering racemes drawn on the edge.
In the center we find the figure of a farmhouse painted with plants and birds enclosed within a rocaille frame painted blue.
With the naked eye and against the light it is possible to notice the presence of its creclè. Its dense plot is a further indication of the originality of the 18th century.
We find similar ones published in Venetian lacquerware manuals.
