Stoneware jug with banner, Cologne or Frechen. On the banner: “Wan got vilt, so ist mein Zilt" , means: If God wants, that is my goal”. With floral appliqués and arcanthus leaves, around 1550/60, height 23 cm. There is a 2 x 4 cm restored missing hole in the stomach. Beautiful, rare example with light brown tiger glaze.
