A pair of urn vases in Bordeaux porcelain from the Terres de Bordes factory, with polychrome and gold cartouche decoration depicting scenes of Chinese life inspired by engravings by Gabriel Huquier after Boucher, and birds in cartouches. The latter stand out against a Salembier-style background with rich floral scrolls supporting fruit-filled bowls and scalloped flower garlands.
