Solid silver and ebony teapot dating from the early 19th century.
This teapot features a natural theme, with elements of fauna and flora, as was often the case during the Empire/Restoration period.
Indeed, we find a dog's head serving as a spout, garlands of acanthus leaves, friezes of flowers and papyrus leaves.
Belgian work, made between 1780 and 1852 by J.G. Dutalis in Brussels.
