Hippolyte-Edme
PRETOT Hippolyte-Edme (1812-1855), born in Paris; he married Cyrille-Joséphine Leclercq. He successively operated at 16, rue de l'Abbaye in 1836, 11bis, rue Saint-Germain desprès in 1841, and from 1846 3 and 5, rue du Harlay.
Shortly after his death, Frédéric Roux bought his company, which was managed in the meantime by the cabinetmaker Bassié. He participated in the exhibition in 1849, and at the London Exhibition in 1852, where he obtained a second class medal for his inlaid furniture.
