Superb 50-piece part of service from Maison Haviland, Diplomate Model
Very old inlay designed at the beginning of the 20th century by the Manufacture's designers.
This decoration was adapted in 1916 for a Japanese embassy with an oven blue wing, then for President Roosevelt in 1938.
Like all the inlays, it is a traditional Limoges engraving, completed by two successive gildings and burnishing with agate.
This decoration combines inlay and relief giving it unparalleled finesse.
