Lacquered daybed bench

Lacquered bench resting on four sword-shaped legs. One of the two cross-shaped backs tilts to lengthen the seat, thanks to a rack-and-pinion system. The seat crosspieces are carved with lozenges and flowers. The uprights on the front of the backrests are braced. The inner back jambs are richly carved with interlacing and flowers. The top of the backrests are carved with geometric motifs inspired by Antiquity.
