Christ with Crown of Thorns, Italy (Lombard?) second half of 16th century, oil on copper. Follower of Leonardo da Vinci. Love the way the face appears through that misty haze of corrosion. Copper slightly uneven. Minuscule retouching (few tiny dots). Mounted on a later frame.
Dimensions: 22x17cm (with frame: 40x45cm).
