An ivory and silver dance card in the shape of a cornucopia. The main side has a fine openwork decoration, chiselled with foliage, scrolls and stylised flowers. A cartouche in the centre is engraved with the letters A.L. The dance card opens in a fan shape and has four ivory leaves. A pencil included in the fold allowed the dancer to remember of the order of of the dances on the program of the evening and the names of their partners. A small fele on an ivory leaf at the tip of the horn.
