A small flying table in marquetry with the queen of quatrefoils in geometric figures. It rests on four legs with sides in the shape of a sheath, joined by a spacer topped with a gilded bronze gallery.
The feet end in enveloping hooves and are decorated at the top with finely chiseled and gilded bronze rings. The cutaway uprights, it opens with a drawer in the lower part and a sliding curtain in the upper part.
It is topped with white marble surmounted by a double Greek gallery in mercury-gilded bronze.
Louis XVI period Attributed to Martin Carlin (1730-1785), famous Parisian cabinetmaker received Master in 1766.
