Compagnie des Indes porcelain tureen and display stand decorated with famille rose enamels of a barrier near a rock in bloom with peonies and exotic birds, the main subject being celestial cranes between friezes of spears. The terrine has two flattened coral-enameled handles and a bulbous dome-shaped lid.
China. Qianlong period, late 18th century.
