Work from the early 19th century
Very large pair of wall lights with three arms of light with rococo decoration.
Very finely chiseled and gilded bronze.
We can clearly find in this work, the very curved shapes of the Louis XV style. The scrolled acanthus leaves and flower-shaped candlesticks are all representations of this style.
Like great dancers, the branches intertwine and the leaves curl in a harmony of movements.
Thanks to the difference in techniques, smooth or engraved, the light does not reflect in the same way on the original gilding, which gives this work a very beautiful depth.
This pair is very interesting due to its imposing size.
Original gilding, restoration of use and maintenance
