This table is inlaid in brass on a red tortoiseshell background decorated with foliage, fleurons and stylized shapes. The belt is highlighted with gilded bronze raies-de-coeurs strips and opens on one side with a drawer.
The four sheathed feet inlaid with brass on a background of red tortoiseshell and gilded bronze rings are connected by a moving spacer in blackened wood surrounded by a golden edging. The center of the spacer features an inverted bronze spinning top.
It rests on four gilded bronze spinning top feet.
Its red leather top gilded with a small iron framed with blackened wood and two gilding threads is surrounded by a gilded bronze raies-de-coeurs ingot mold.
