Rare set of eight caned chairs in lacquered beech resting on four curved legs joined by an X-shaped brace. The foot end is carved with acanthus leaves, while the foot drop is carved with a plume. The belt is carved on the front and sides with a shell framed by foliage. The seat is linked to a very high back marked by a strong shoulder and carved in its center on the upper crosspiece with stylized foliage and a plumet. The lower crosspiece is slightly curved.
The lacquer is original.
