French 17th & 18th centuries furniture and Arts
Remarkable 19th-century cookie of dancing from the Art Nouveau period circa 1895, based on the work of the great sculptor François-Raoul Larche, known as Raoul Larche, born in Saint-André-de-Cubzac on October 22, 1860, and died in Paris on June 3, 1912.
His work is representative of the neo-baroque and Art Nouveau styles.
The sculpture we present is a convincing example of Art Nouveau, where curve and counter-curve, and the representation of the divinized woman, are the very essence of Art Nouveau.
Private collection.
In good condition (minor restorations to wrists).
