Small cartel of alcove on its base of lamp, in green horn, of violonée form, important rocaille decoration out of engraved and gilded bronze: flowered foliages, clasps, shells and scrolls, in its top a vase ansé, small cambered feet. The dial with white enamel plate is signed Charles Leroy in Paris around the Arabic and Roman numerals, the plate also signed. The hours and quarters are struck by the repeater. Horn changed .

Charles Leroy is one of the greatest Parisian watchmakers of the reign of Louis XV, master on August 16, 1833, 1709-1771.
Saint-Germain Jean Joseph (1719-1791), master in 1748, one of the great bronzemakers of the reign of Louis XV, author of numerous clocks.
