Silverware and Silversmith of the 19th and 20th centuries
Oblong silver planter, resting on four claw feet in foliate crosier. The body is decorated with repoussé with a frieze of grooves. On the long sides is a rocaille cartouche surmounted by a shell. The integral handles are rolled up. The removable inner liner is in repolished copper.
